A quick preview.

For your info this was taken november, daddy and mummy brought me to some interesting place. This was taken at the Discovery centre, it was a short trip since yuhin is afraid of the dim lighting in the army museum. Somehow yuhin seems a little timid when the place is unfamiliar to him. We would need to bring out more often rather than our regular Jurong point.

We went to the bird park in the morning but somehow he was afraid of the big birds compare to the pigeon he saw at the void deck. The science centre is the most interesting place as he enjoy it so much. This is really a lot of things to see and even adults feel excited when we saw the exhibits.

Going 15th Month

Chinese garden will be a frequent place we will visit since it just 10mins walk away from home. Hi my fans, it been a long time since my last update. By the way I am going to be 20 mths old soon. Like to catch a glimpse of me, "Hi, daddy pls update my pics with due diligence, I am sure they can't wait to see my new photo", yuhin. For your eyes.

Yuhin has grown alot the past few month since he started walking about 2month ago. Although Mummy is anxious that he should be walking asap, he just simply enjoying his pram. Walking is just not his preferences, he prefer running and dashing. Going after him is such tiring sport for us as he just keep himself busy all the time. He simply make a dash for things and object that catch his attentions.

Currently, he is in the stage of just speaking 1 or 2 words and making all kind of facial hilarious expression. We spent the weekend giving our full attention to him and it was sure a good way to de-stress after a week of work, especially for Mummy. Bye.

Morning Reflection

Wonder why I am typing this early on a Sunday morning and the rain has just stop. This has been a terrible week for me battling sore throat, running nose and dry cough. As for Yu hin, it was a different story, he has make tremendous progress. He know how to clap his hand, and bring his hand together doing "pray pray" action at my mum place. Yu hin is using his little finger to pick up snack and put it nicely into his mouth. He also manage hold the milk bottle and drink on his own, but it is not milk, but some flavour water (so that is the trick). Otherwise, he is not so eager to hold the bottle if it is just plain water...For us it was such a great joy and excitement to see him doing all this and Ann is simply elated. We are glad to be able to witness his growth and progress...

YuHin 1st Birthday Cake

Hi Guys, I am one year old now. Can I have some cake? please...No darling not this time. My little boy is growing up well and becoming a little monkey...graping and throwing whatever could get hold of.

He has become very energetic...tonnes of energy..really has a hard time catching up with his pace. And now a day he has become very expressive and making alot of funny facial expression. He like to watch TV advertisement especially those marketing the shampoo and SK... He like Sesame street as well to our surprise...

Christmas Party

We had a small Christmas party on Saturday after Christmas and finally all the three boys get to meet each other together for the first time. They are born on the same year between 2-3 month interval.

Phoebe's Birthday Party

Yu Hin First Post

Yu Hun is 5mth and 1week now, he just went for his 3rd injection this morning. He had just recovered from a lymph node surgery under his left armpit (approx. 1.5cm). The lump had developed infections and the doctor suggest we had it removed immediately. The operations was done on the same day and he has to undergo full sedation. It was minor surgery, and risk is very low. After the surgery, the surgoen inform us that there was actually two lymph node affected and he will send it for lab test. The wound was not stitch up as infection might set in and cause further implications. Yu hin has to stay in the hospital for a night and we were there to keep him company. It was a not a pleasant stay at the hospital as there are many babies and toddler around as well, some with even more complex conditions.
Yu hin was discharge the following day, and my wife took a week leave to look after him as his wound need to be clean every alternate day at the polyclinic and he has undergo a course of antibiotic for 5days. We went back after a week for a review with the surgeon and two lab report was out. The result show the swelling of lypmh node was cause by the BCG injection at birth. It could be that the BCG injection not done properly, injected too deeply, which I read up on the side effect of BCG injection from the web. The possibility of him over reacting to the BCG is very slim.
My wife and me is very relief, and it was a blessing that he is growing well again. Currently, he is already 8.05kg and 67.5cm tall. Yu hin is our first child and he came at a time we least expected. It was wonderful feeling when I first hold him in my arm and tears of joy flow through my heart. A new life has just blossom and there was joy in my family, and many well wishes pouring in. Parenthood is very different experience, there is joy and frustration. But when I saw him smile, I know it is all worth it.
